Everton FC Personalised Football Calendar
A Unique Gift Idea For Everton Fans!
Everton FC remains one of the most successful clubs in English football, having won many top flight titles, FA Cups and a European Cup Winners' Cup. One of the main reasons for the Toffees' accomplishments is the uncanny ability the club has had to nurture striking talent. The first player to wear the blue 'number nine' shirt was William Ralph Dean. In just one season, 'Dixie' managed to score sixty goals for Everton in thirty-nine matches - a record that may never be matched in English football - and he scored 383 goals in just 433 games in total. A statue of this incredible striker is now part of Goodison Park and forwards such as Andy Gray and Gary Lineker continued his tradition of scoring by the bucket-load for the Toffees.
Our Personalised Everton FC Calendars are a terrific gift idea for any fan of the club, as they feature a selection of reproduced match reports on some of the best Everton games from the past fifty years. Beginning from the month of your choice, this unique gift is sure to bring back magical memories for Everton fans. The A3 Calendar is also a fascinating read for the newer generation of supporters, who may like to learn more about their club's history.
Calendar Highlights
These Personalised Everton FC Calendars feature reports on the matches that clinched First Division titles for the club in 1963 and 1970 respectively. In 1963, Everton beat Fulham 4-1 to win the league by six points after losing just six games out of a total of forty-two. In 1970, the winning margin over Leeds was nine points and the championship was confirmed after a 2-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion.
In addition to these league fixtures, the A3 Calendar also features reports on famous cup ties. In 1985 Everton FC enjoyed one of its most successful ever seasons, as in addition to a league title and FA Cup final, the club also enjoyed a successful run in the European Cup Winners' Cup. In April, the Toffees played out a tense 0-0 draw to Bayern Munich in the away leg of the semi-final. Everton would go on to win the second game 3-1, and on 16th May, they won the final 3-1 against Rapid Vienna. Another outstanding cup win incorporated in this Calendar Gift is the 1995 FA Cup final victory against Manchester United, which ended in a 1-0 Everton victory.
As well as this selection of incredible matches, our Everton FC Calendar also contains newspaper stories on a set of significant moments. In 1985, Gary Lineker joined the club and he would go on to score thirty goals before later moving to FC Barcelona. In 1990, Howard Kendall returned as Everton manager and he ignited an incredible change of fortunes for the struggling Toffees. In 2002, current boss David Moyes became manager of the club, and in 2006, Duncan Ferguson played his final match for Everton - a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion.
